Κρατώντας στα χέρια του τη σημαία της Βενεζουέλας, ο Ντιέγκο Μαραντόνα παρέστη σε προεκλογική συγκέντρωση του Νικολάς Μαδούρο, δηλώνοντας "στρατιώτης" του. (photos + video)

Την Κυριακή (20/05) διεξάγονται στη Βενεζουέλα προεδρικές εκλογές όπου αναμένονται να προσέλθουν στις κάλπες περίπου 19.000.000 πολίτες, οι οποίοι θα αναδείξουν τον πρόεδρο της χώρας καθώς και τα περιφερειακά συμβούλια.

Ο Νικολάς Μαδούρο διεκδικεί την επανεκλογή του για το προεδρικό αξίωμα της χώρας και σε μία από τις προεκλογικές συγκεντρώσεις του παρευρέθηκε και ο Ντιέγκο Μαραντόνα.

Ο σπουδαίος Αργεντινός, ο οποίος ήταν φίλος με τον πρώην πρόεδρο της Βενεζουέλας, Ούγκο Τσάβες, καθώς και με τον πρώην Κουβανό πρόεδρο, Φιντέλ Κάστρο, χαρακτήρισε τον εαυτό του "στρατιώτη" του Μαδούρο και εξέφρασε την πεποίθηση του ότι ο νυν πρόεδρος της Βενεζουέλας θα είναι ο νικητής των εκλογών.
