Ο πρώην παίκτης του Ολυμπιακού, Βον Ουέιφερ βρήκε τον επόμενο σταθμό της καριέρας του στην Κρεμόνα η οποία τον "έκλεισε" για έναν χρόνο

Πρόκειται για μία μεγάλη μεταγραφή αν αναλογιστεί κανείς το μέγεθος της ιταλικής ομάδας, καθώς ο Ουέιφερ την περασμένη σεζόν αγωνίστηκε στους Μπόστον Σέλτικς.

Έπαιξε σε συνολικά 58 παιχνίδια, έχοντας κατά μέσο όρο 10 λεπτά συμμετοχής. Ο 26χρονος γκαρντ αγωνίστηκε για λίγους μήνες στον Ολυμπιακό τη σεζόν 2009-10 και τα Χριστούγεννα του 2009 αντικαταστάθηκε.

Δύο μήνες αργότερα υπέγραψε ένα συμβόλαιο με τους Ντάλας Μάβερικς, ενώ τη σεζόν που μας πέρασε επέστρεψε στους Σέλτικς αποκτώντας ξανά έναν πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο στο ΝΒΑ.
