Η λίστα με τους δέκα πιο ακριβοπληρωμένους αθλητές της δεκαετίας συμπεριλαμβάνει όλα τα μεγάλα ονόματα του παγκόσμιου αθλητισμού με τον τελευταίο να παίρνει 400 εκατομμύρια δολάρια!
Τα χρήματα που έπεσαν στο τραπέζι για τον αθλητισμό την προηγούμενη δεκαετία ήταν πολλά. Για την ακρίβεια πάρα πολλά. Δισεκατομμύρια έπεσαν στην αγορά για την υπογραφή των κορυφαίων αθλητών σε όλα τα σπορ.
Στη λίστα που παρουσίασε το "Forbes" θα δείτε την δεκάδα των πιο ακριβοπληρωμένων αθλητών της δεκαετίας.
Όπως θα δείτε ακριβώς από κάτω στην δέκατη θέση βρίσκεται ο Λιούις Χάμιλτον ο οποίος μόνο την περασμένη δεκαετία έβγαλε 400 εκατομμύρια δολάρια. Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει το γεγονός ότι ο Τάιγκερ Γουντς, ο οποίος ήταν ο μοναδικός αθλητής που την προηγούμενη δεκαετία έβγαζε ετησίως πάνω από 80 εκατομμύρια δολάρια ετησίως, βρίσκεται στην έκτη θέση της σχετικής λίστας.
Στην κορυφαία τριάδα φιγουράρουν τα ονόματα των Φλόιντ Μέιγουεδερ, Κριστιάνο Ρονάλντο και Λιονέλ Μέσι.
