Ο Ρονάλντο ξαναφόρεσε τα ποδοσφαιρικά του παπούτσια για να παίξει στο καθιερωμένο ετήσιο ραντεβού κατά της φτώχειας και έδειξε πως η τέχνη του γκολ δεν ξεχνιέται (pics+videos)!
Ζιντάν και Ρονάλντο διοργάνωσαν για μία ακόμα χρονιά (ένατη συνολικά) φιλικό παιχνίδι με φιλανθρωπικό χαρακτήρα, το επονομαζόμενο "Match Against Poverty", με το ραντεβού για το 2011 (τα έσοδα θα διατεθούν για την υποστήριξη των παιδιών της Αφρικής) να δίνεται στην "Imtech Arena", έδρα της ομάδας του Αμβούργου.
Οι δύο τεράστιοι άσοι του πρόσφατου παρελθόντος ήταν στην ίδια ομάδα, έχοντας στο πλευρό τους (νυν και πρώην) παίκτες όπως οι Φίγκο, Ντάβιντς, Καναβάρο, Μακελελέ, Ντρογκμπά και Σαλγκάδο, ενώ απέναντί τους είχαν μία μεικτή παικτών που έχουν φορέσει τη φανέλα της γερμανικής ομάδας.
Ως είθισται σε αυτές τις αναμετρήσεις το σκορ ήταν αρκετά υψηλό (5-4 για την παρέα των Ζιντάν και Ρονάλντο), με την παράσταση να κλέβει όπως αναμενόταν το "φαινόμενο" ο οποίος βρήκε το δρόμο προς τα δίχτυα με ένα πολύ όμορφο γκολ.
Με τη συμπλήρωση του ημιώρου, ο Ρονάλντο πήρε τη μπάλα και έφτασε στη μεγάλη περιοχή και μετά από ωραία συνεργασία με τον Ντρογκμπά την έστειλε στα δίχτυα με έξυπνο δεξί πλασέ στην κίνηση.
Απόδειξη, ότι η τέχνη του γκολ δεν ξεχνιέται, πόσο μάλλον για έναν παίκτη που δεν έχει περάσει καν ένας χρόνος από τότε που ανακοίνωσε την αποχώρησή του από την ενεργό δράση.
